If you plotted every pickleball court in Malaysia on a map, the densest cluster would sit in Petaling Jaya. Seksyen 19, Damansara Utama, Ara Damansara, Section 51 and Tropicana are all within a fifteen-minute drive of each other, and each has at least one dedicated venue.
Selangor's real advantage over Kuala Lumpur is mundane: parking. A KL club booking that costs you twenty minutes circling for a space is worse value than the sticker price suggests. Almost every PJ and Subang venue has dedicated parking.

Seksyen 19, Petaling Jaya
Split-tier indoor facility in PJ Seksyen 19 running VIP lounge courts alongside cheaper community courts. Open until 1am, which makes it one of the few realistic options for players finishing work after 9pm.

Subang Jaya's SS15 venue serves the student belt with friendlier off-peak rates. Puchong now has a five-court indoor arena covering the southern Klang Valley, and Shah Alam's covered courts in Seksyen 13 serve players from Klang who previously had nowhere local.
This spread matters more than the raw venue count. Pickleball is a habit sport — people play weekly or they stop. A court fifteen minutes away gets used; one forty minutes away does not.

In practice most Klang Valley players use both. Pick a home court near where you live, then use the comparison tool when you want something different — an air-conditioned session in July, or a covered court during the monsoon.
PJ has the highest concentration of pickleball venues in Malaysia. Hyprground in Seksyen 19 runs indoor courts until 1am, Let's Pickleball occupies The Starling Mall rooftop in Damansara Utama, The Lawn by Pickle Park sits at Lumi Tropicana, and NZX Sports Arena and Sportizza cover Ara Damansara and Section 51.
Most Selangor venues fall between RM35 and RM50 per hour. The Lawn by Pickle Park starts around RM45. Community and student-belt venues in Subang and Shah Alam tend to be cheaper, particularly off-peak.

Selangor generally wins on parking and venue density around Petaling Jaya. Kuala Lumpur wins on the cheapest available rate through the DBKL public hall network and on late-night availability. Most regular players use venues in both.
