There is no single official calendar for Malaysian pickleball. Events are announced across dozens of venue Instagram accounts and private WhatsApp groups, which means players routinely find out about a tournament the week after entries closed.

This page collects what we can verify. It is not exhaustive, and we would rather list nothing than list something that turns out not to exist.

How to hear about events early

  1. Follow the Instagram accounts of the three venues nearest you. This is where announcements land first.
  2. Join at least one venue WhatsApp group. Entries often circulate there before they are public.
  3. Ask at the front desk. Staff know what is coming before it is posted.

Entries close faster than you expect

A Klang Valley tournament with a 64-team cap can fill in under a week. If you intend to enter, register the day entries open rather than waiting to confirm a partner.

Planning your season

If you want to compete, a sensible first year looks like this: three months of regular social play, one coaching block, a DUPR rating established through rated social games, then one local tournament entered a bracket below where you think you belong.
